AICTEC Membership
The Australian ICT in Education Committee (AICTEC) has representation from the schools, vocational education and training
and higher education sectors, and includes both public and private education and training sector interests.
Through its broad membership, the Committee represents the information and communication technology interests of each State
and Territory school and VET system, the non-government school sector, higher education, and the Australian Government.
Membership of AICTEC includes:
- one representative nominated by:
- each State and Territory Government School system;
- the Catholic Schools sector;
- the Independent Schools sector;
- each State and Territory Vocational Education and Training (VET) system;
- two representatives from the Australian Government;
- two representatives from the higher education sector with skills relevant to the AICTEC Terms of Reference; and
- one representative of Universities Australia.
Standing observers include representatives of:
- Education Services Australia (ESA)
- Flexible Learning Advisory Group (FLAG)
- Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
