    The Le@rning Federation is a five year initiative developing a shared national pool of quality online learning content for Australian and New Zealand schools. The intent of the Le@rning Federation's metadata application profile is to support the access, search, selection, use, trade and management of that learning content. This paper is a case study capturing some of the ongoing development of the application profile.
