    AbaF Margaret Lawrence Bequest Scholarships provide arts managers with an opportunity to attend a fully-funded executive development program at one of Australia's leading business schools: Melbourne Business School's Mt Eliza Centre for Executive Education (MBS, Melbourne) or Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM, Sydney).

    Australian School-based Apprenticeships enable students to gain a vocational and technical qualification while completing their school studies. Once completed the qualification can lead to continued employment, self employment; further training or education. The website provides information on school-based apprenticeships and the government financial assistance available.

    The Australian Overseas Foundation presents annual Australian Overseas Foundation Awards to New Apprentices to study overseas for 12 months. The aim is to provide opportunities for work and study experience to outstanding young people who had completed a certificate of vocational studies, an apprenticeship or traineeship.     The Australian Scholarships Foundation (ASF) is dedicated to providing scholarships to enable managers and financial officers of charitable organisations to enhance and improve their skills in managing their organizations. ASF works with a number of sponsoring organisations through which scholarships are available for a wide range of management and finance training programs, including university degree courses, short training programs and specialized mentoring services.

    This website provides information on the Australian Skills Vouchers initiative. Business Skills Vouchers for Apprentices provide vouchers up to $500 to assist apprentices or newly qualified tradespeople to undertake business skills training. Work Skills Vouchers provide vouchers up to $3000 to assist Australians aged 25 and over to improve their basic skill level to Year 12 or vocational Certificate II.

    The Indigenous Aerospace Initiative (IAI) 'Aiming High' was established by the Western Australian Department of Education and Training as an aspirational program to provide opportunities for Aboriginal students to undertake pilot training and enter the Australian aviation industry. The one year program offers scholarships to complete an integrated course in Aeronautical Studies and undertake flying training. The program consists of practical as well as theoretical components that will allow students to gain an in-depth knowledge of the Australian aviation industry and provide a springboard into an exciting and rewarding new career.

    The Indigenous Youth Mobility Programme (IYMP) provides young people from remote Australia with training and employment opportunities in major centres. The IYMP services are: training and employment services; safe and supported accommodation (delivered through Aboriginal Hostels Limited); and additional mentor support. The programme will incude new apprenticeships and some tertiary pathways including nursing, teaching, accounting and business management.

    The Long Tan Bursary is administered by the Australian Veterans' Children Assistance Trust. It is a scholarship fund created by the Department of Veterans' Affairs to help the children of Vietnam veterans in their first year of full-time tertiary education.
